2330-prologue

A flash of light.

Encrid couldn’t understand what was happening.

He just felt a pain like a heated skewer piercing his throat.

He realized that his leather-reinforced armor was useless.

He lost consciousness as he spilled the red, hot liquid running through his body.

Then he opened his eyes again.

It was the start of a new day.

It wasn’t a dream.

He had experienced this countless times.

He didn’t know why this was happening.

It just did.

Thud-thud.

The sound announcing morning.

The night watchman bangs a pot with a ladle.

The same morning for the third time.

Encrid finally realized it.

“Again?”

Whenever he died, the same day repeated.

Announcement!
