Chapter 123
We'll have a mass release of chapters later today! Stay tuned!
[Creator Community.]
A place where Creators from countless worlds discussed their stories under the veil of anonymity.
Until recently, most discussions centered around the [Twelve Species]—but now, a particular species and world had taken the spotlight.
[Earth and its humans.]
Among the [dimensions] connected to the Abyss, Earth was notably weak and lacking in talent—yet miracles continued to occur one after another.
The recent experiences of Creators who entered the “Earth 666 Abyss” were nothing short of extraordinary.
—“The one who created Earth 666 must be a God.”
—“That [Unique Domain] that broke Abyss rules definitely had the authority of a God!”
—“If it wasn’t a god’s [Incarnation], that level of power is inexplicable.”
—“The oppressive force that froze the entire domain… That magic made even me tremble.”
—“Hey, did you hear who created the Incarnation Balzac—the one who became a half-demon?”
—“I was wondering that myself.”
—“If they’re already creating half-demons, they must be a skilled Creator. Who is it?”
Creators who watched the Colosseum matches live through their [Incarnations] all wondered the same thing.
The craftsmanship of the half-demon, [Incarnation Balzac], was impressive even by their standards.
Crafting a [half-demon] was a high-level skill for any Creator.
But those who could pull it off were exceedingly rare.
Too many variables were involved.
Each species and individual had to be considered, and the failure rate was high. The cost in [coins] was astronomical.
Sure, if successful, one could gain control over multiple Incarnations and reap massive rewards—but it required years of study.
And someone had already done it.
Even more shocking—it was the first case involving a human.
—“It was Lord Arbanil.”
—“The Immortal Cursed One?”
—“As expected of a ‘New-Dimension Predator.’”
—“That kind of info—turning a human into a half-demon—would sell for a fortune.”
Lord Arbanil was a well-known Creator in the Abyss.
He was respected for both his terrifying authority—[Immortal Curse]—and his creative prowess.
He was especially infamous as a [New-Dimension Predator].
He’d flood newly connected dimensions with destructive creations to harvest quick profits, plunging them into chaos.
Apparently, he had set his sights on Earth this time too.
—“…He died, apparently. Along with his half-demon.”
—“Is that true?”
—“Did another Lord invade?”
—“That’s strange. There wasn’t a war, was there?”
—“Wasn’t he on good terms with the nearby Lords?”
Creators raised questions.
The one who brought it up continued with more shocking news.
—“They say he died at the same time as the half-demon. By direct damage. The ‘God who created Earth 666’ killed Arbanil directly by targeting the connection with his half-demon.”
Silence fell over the community.
A [half-demon] was still just an Incarnation.
Nowhere in Incarnation contracts did it say a Creator would suffer direct harm.
No matter how strong the link, the death of an Incarnation shouldn’t impact a Creator significantly.
But if the opponent was a [God], the story changed.
A God’s [Unique Domain] existed beyond Abyssal laws.
Someone at that level could easily kill Arbanil across space and dimensions.
This was why every Lord feared the Gods.
—“That’s nonsense.”
—“As if a God would interfere with a dimension that’s been connected to the Abyss for barely 100 days?”
—“What’s even more absurd is a God choosing a human as an Incarnation.”
—“And creating such a small-scale [Creator Abyss]? Even a slime would laugh!”
—“If the one who created Earth 666 is a God, I’ll eat my own hand.”
Naturally, most Creators mocked the idea.
The community’s sentiment was largely negative.
It just didn’t make sense.
A [God] in the Abyss wasn’t just powerful—they were apex predators above the countless demons and Lords.
Would such a being bother with pest control on a backwater like Earth?
—“But what if, by some chance, it’s true?”
—“What if Earth 666 Abyss hides something we don’t know?”
—“Maybe defeating the Champion completes a [Legendary Quest]?”
—“…Could we gain a God’s territory?”
—“Maybe there’s something even greater hidden within.”
Despite the skepticism, the idea sparked a heated debate.
If all of it were true, what could be gained from Earth 666 Abyss?
Conquering the Champion might bring unbelievable rewards!
Whether fact or fiction, one thing was clear—the place was special.
Maybe that’s why…
The number of Incarnations entering Earth 666 skyrocketed.
More Creators began to take an interest.
And the Colosseum’s revenue shot up as a result.
‘Why are so many people entering all of a sudden?’
Adora, the Creator of the Colosseum, was genuinely confused by the unexpected boom.
Contrary to the negative discourse, the number of challengers had more than doubled.
—
《Champion ‘Nameless Man’ continues his winning streak!》
《He has reached 256 consecutive wins!》
《A total of 113 coins have been accumulated.》
《If the Champion is dethroned, the challenger will receive all accumulated coins at once.》
Even after all that, the Champion’s position remained unshaken.
Not a single Incarnation could stand up to the overwhelming might of the Nameless Man.
Meanwhile, Park Chan-woo had briefly disengaged from [Ajos’s] synchronization.
‘Ding!’
《‘Ajos’ has won a match.》
《1 coin has been deposited.》
《Per the contract with Creator Adora, all Colosseum revenue is split 50:50.》
《2 additional coins have been deposited from spectator seating sales over the past 3 days.》
A message appeared as he walked.
Seeing it, Park Chan-woo smiled faintly.
‘This is basically auto-farming.’
Ajos and Adora were generating coins automatically for him.
Even if he did nothing, he was earning about one coin per day.
‘I’ve already earned back more than I invested.’
He’d already recouped his initial coin investment.
Especially after reaching 170 wins with Balzac—that had been a jackpot.
‘The coins are duplicating.’
A dream-like scenario where you throw in coins and take out more.
Coins were multiplying indefinitely.
If Han Shin had seen this, he probably would’ve fainted from jealousy.
‘At this rate, I can trust them to handle it.’
He had full faith in Ajos and Adora.
Besides, summoning Ajos barely consumed any mana now.
Thanks to achieving 1,000% synchronization, their connection had deepened significantly.
Ajos had also picked up a large portion of Park Chan-woo’s swordsmanship.
Unless he was abruptly unsummoned, he wouldn’t lose to ordinary Incarnations.
Adora was also growing more proficient at managing the [Creator Abyss].
Park Chan-woo glanced up at the sky.
Then—
‘Ding!’
《Current Coin Count: 211》
He had surpassed 200 coins before he knew it.
Just looking at the number was enough to satisfy him.
Since returning, he had earned an average of 3 coins per day.
At this point, there was probably no one with more coins than him.
‘There probably isn’t even anyone with 100.’
His coin count was in a whole different league.
The more, the better.
Coins were never a bad thing, and thinking about the future—he was still hungry for more.
He wasn’t aiming for second-rate Creators or weaklings.
‘Still don’t know what this second Easter Egg does…’
He shrugged.
He had acquired it, but its exact function remained a mystery.
Still, he wasn’t in a rush.
Just like with [Easter Egg (001)], its effects would reveal themselves as it leveled up.
Once the conditions were met, it would activate on its own.
However, something still nagged at him.
‘…That vision of light I saw. It couldn’t be a Creator, could it?’
It wasn’t a hallucination.
He had definitely seen someone among the flood of light.
Even if Ajos, Adora, and Dagon claimed ignorance—he was certain.
That light-formed figure had a sacred aura.
It might even have been a Creator!
Park Chan-woo now believed that [Easter Eggs] were remnants left behind by Creators in the Abyss.
Mysteries even Lords and the [Twelve Species] didn’t know about.
Perhaps the second remnant had triggered that figure’s appearance.
‘Tap.’
Park Chan-woo came to a stop.
Then looked ahead.
Somehow, he had arrived before a massive building.
‘Abyss Safety Bureau.’
A department hastily formed by the government after the Abyss emerged.
‘The only useful agency among government institutions.’
Despite being hastily assembled, it had many capable personnel.
For a simple reason.
‘Minister Park Sang-min. That man is the real deal.’
Because it was under Park Sang-min’s command.
As long as he remained, Korea could maintain relative safety from the disaster that was the Abyss.
Even [Incarnations] couldn’t act out freely.
Park Sang-min was practically their natural enemy.
He compiled kill lists, publicly exposed them, and led powerful Awakened to crush them.
It was he who painted Incarnations as villains in the public eye.
But it didn’t last long.
‘Park Sang-min was later demoted after being scapegoated in Incarnation political infighting.’
The Bureau was riddled with internal rot.
Opportunists lurking in the shadows, waiting to take over.
They leaked all the Bureau’s secrets, framed Park Sang-min, had him demoted, and seized control.
The rest was history.
A world by Incarnations, for Incarnations.
Back when Park Sang-min was in charge, they at least kept their behavior in check…
And so—
《Equipping ‘Glasses of Resplendent Dantalion.’》
Park Chan-woo took out the special paint and brush as well.
‘First, I’ll clean this place up.’
