Chapter 26
Police officers began gathering around the Tower.
Starting with one or two, the number quickly surged past dozens, and even the special forces arrived.
Armed uniforms. Tense expressions. Eyes fixed on a crowd of hundreds.
Hundreds of people surrounding the Tower.
It wasn’t just the police blocking them.
“Why are you doing this? Are you really trying to start a war?”
“We’re not causing any damage. We just need to take one—maybe two people.”
“Why is Seongbuk-gu’s protector guild here in Songpa-gu?”
“Because the bastard who nearly killed my sister is in there.”
Everyone surrounding the Tower wore the same blue shirt.
And in front of them—towering, muscles stretching the fabric—stood a man.
“Guild Leader Han Sang-jip!”
The guild leader of Seongbuk-gu’s Eventful Guild.
Han Sang-jip’s stubbornness wasn’t budging.
The man speaking to him, the guild leader of Songpa-gu’s Twila Guild, began losing patience.
“If you keep this up, Twila Guild won’t stay still. I’m calling my people right now.”
“Then call them. I’m not leaving just because you tell me to. Bring as many as you want. I’ll take care of my business and leave.”
“Good. Then let’s have a war. You started it first.”
“Twila Guild of Songpa-gu vs. Eventful Guild of Seongbuk-gu… very entertaining.”
Han Sang-jip’s eyes held no fear.
Only determination.
The resolve to go to war to get what he wanted.
“Stay right here,” Twila’s guild leader spat.
“Do whatever you want,” Han Sang-jip replied. “I’ll drag that bastard out once he shows himself.”
He was about to call when a blue-shirted guild member ran up.
“Guild Leader! He’s out!”
Han Sang-jip grinned, unfolding his arms.
He patted the Twila leader on the shoulder.
“Relax. I’ll be quick. Just wait.”
For the first time, Han Sang-jip moved.
He raised his voice.
“Everyone, move!!”
“Yes, sir!”

I stepped out of the Tower.
The first thing I saw was a sea of bright blue.
“I heard about it, but seeing it in person is impressive.”
Two hundred? Possibly more.
Hundreds of blue shirts formed a wall of bodies.
Beside me, I felt Hyun-jung tremble.
I’d warned her roughly, but seeing it with her own eyes was different.
“It’s okay.”
I stroked her head and patted her back.
Then I walked forward with confidence.
“Watch closely. How I protect the people precious to me.”
No fear.
Not even a hint.
The blue wave surged toward me.
I tightened my grip on Hyun-jung’s hand.
Her trembling stilled.
I didn’t even need to look.
I knew she was watching my back.
“Hey!”
The crowd parted as Han Sang-jip walked out.
“You should dress properly.”
“You crazy bastard.”
He lunged immediately, throwing a punch.
There was a reason he ruled Seongbuk-gu.
Fast. Heavy. Skilled.
Among everyone I’d met since turning back time, he was one of the strongest.
I slipped past his fist, drew the Immortal Demon Sword, and slashed at his abdomen.
His shirt tore—and the blade dug into his stomach.
But—
Thwack!
His second punch crashed into my chest.
“Ugh.”
“Uncle!”
I staggered back.
I looked up—and froze.
‘That’s… odd.’
I had clearly cut him.
But through the torn shirt, his stomach was perfectly intact.
Smirk.
“I heard you were something special. Turns out you’re nothing. Surprised? That a sword doesn’t work on me?”
Laughter rippled through the blue shirts.
Of course they were calm. Their guild leader couldn’t be cut by a blade.
A body immune to sharp weapons.
A passive Skill wasted on a gangster.
I exhaled through my nose and straightened up.
Then, I took out my phone, spoke one word, and hung up.
“Now.”
“What? Is your brain scrambled from fear?”
Han Sang-jip cocked his fist back—
“I have a gift. Look up.”
Every electronic billboard around the Tower suddenly froze—then changed screens.
Police. Civilians. Guild members. Everyone looked up.
“What’s that? Another ad?”
“Looks weird…”
Except one person.
“Uh…?”
Han Sang-hae.
She knew exactly what it was.
[I grilled and fed her Goblins, Kobolds, Slimes… I was curious! Wanted to see if she could eat it! She looked sick but survived!]
“N-no!!!!”
Her scream echoed through the plaza.
The video playing was from the Rogue Guild’s CCTV.
The footage and audio I’d instructed Black Label to retrieve.
‘She really got it done.’
And the timing?
Perfect.
Black Label handled it flawlessly.
[I stepped on her foot, so I got annoyed and hit her. You saw it earlier. Men are extreme. I only hit her once, but the others joined in and beat her, and she fell on me…]
Fortunately, the footage ended before the worst part.
I’d asked Hwang Ji-young to cut it so Hyun-jung wouldn’t hear it.
Still, Han Sang-hae was losing her mind.
“Oppa!! Oppa, turn it off!! Turn it off!!”
Her shrieks echoed across the suddenly silent plaza.
Everyone could tell who the video was about.
Han Sang-hae had done half the work herself by screaming.
“Oppa!!!”
“Shut up.”
Han Sang-jip’s voice was low—deadly.
“If you scream like that, you’re telling the whole world it’s you. You crazy bitch.”
The moment the video cut off, murmurs began.
Disgusted faces. Whispered curses. Fingers pointing at the siblings.
“Hmph.”
I couldn’t help laughing.
“You bastard.”
Han Sang-jip stormed over and grabbed me by the collar.
“You did this? Since when!? Did you target my sister on purpose just to screw with me!?”
Click.
He froze at the sound.
A gun barrel pressed against his head.
“Let go.”
It was Hyun-jung.
“You’re all insane,” Han Sang-jip growled.
His annoyance sharpened into murderous intent.
“It doesn’t matter. You’re dying today. Not here, of course. But if I drag you to Seongbuk-gu, skin you alive, bury you in cement—what will happen then?”
I glanced at the police.
He laughed.
“You think they’ll help you? Seongbuk-gu is mine. If I kill you both and pay them off, that’s it. Police? Those rats live for money, you naive little bastard.”
“Seems like they heard everything.”
“What?”
I grinned.
The billboards weren’t off.
The video feed was stopped—but the sound was still playing.
His threats had been broadcast publicly.
“This bastard—”
[Seongbuk-gu is mine…]
“Uh…?”
[…bury you in cement…]
Han Sang-jip went pale. (T/N: Wow. GGWP)
A police officer raised a megaphone.
“Guild Leader Han Sang-jip! Release that man immediately. If you do not comply, we will respond with full force. This is not a request—this is an order!”
Dozens of police officers had surrounded the blue shirts from behind.
Twila Guild reinforcements also arrived, outnumbering the Eventful Guild two to one.
“G-Guild Leader… the police…”
“If we fight here, we’re ruined. Everything collapses.”
“You have to let him go.”
“Guild Leader… please.”
I kept laughing.
Then I looked at Hyun-jung.
“You can lower the gun now. Let’s go home.”
Only then did she lower it—hugging the gun tightly again.
Her determined face made me laugh.
I held her hand and shouted:
“Open the way.”
The blue shirts, eyes flicking nervously toward their guild leader, slowly stepped aside.
A clear path formed.
Before leaving, I leaned toward Han Sang-jip.
“Don’t worry. I’ll see you again tonight. This isn’t over, you bastard.”
His face was red—like a chili pepper.
Looking at that perfect shade of crimson, I left the Tower with Hyun-jung.

Late evening.
I left the motel, where Hyun-jung was sleeping soundly.
Then I called Hwang Ji-young.
“Han Sang-jip is at headquarters, right?”
[Most executives are there. They’re having an emergency meeting—but it’s taking a while.]
“Where’s their headquarters?”
[Are you insane? There are at least 50 people there. Including executives and Han Sang-jip. If you go, you won’t come out alive. Not unless you’re a top-ranked player.]
I chuckled.
Then said:
“That’s why I’m asking you to hand it to me. A top-ranked player? You are talking to one right now.”
Staring at Regression Mode in my Skill Window, I welcomed the night.
Time to end Hyun-jung’s nightmare at the root.
